What is the difference between hurricane and cyclone?

They are the exact same thing. A cyclone is a spinning low pressure system so a hurricane IS a cyclone. Also in the Indian Ocean they are called cyclones and in the Atlantic Ocean, they are called hurricanes. They are called typhoons in the Pacific Ocean. All these storms are the exact same storm, just called something different.
