What was ancient Greek society like? Particularly when Aristotle was alive?

I'm studying his natural law theory (or common law theory) but I want to find out about the world he lived in (the context and conditions that produced the theory) For e.g what was considered right or wrong, what was the split between poor and rich like, how was government/monarchy/politics structured. And anything about Aristotle’s religious beliefs, and the beliefs of the people at that time would be brilliant. Just abit about what surrounds him and his theories, I don't want to study with a narrow focus. Thanks so much.
